Handmade vegan, plant based, pork pies and vegan scotch egg inspired snacks. The Original Vork Pie was inspired by the traditional flavouring of a pork pie, but without the meat. They can be eaten cold with chutney as a vegan ploughman’s or in your lunchbox for work, or part of a buffet, even as part of a wedding buffet. Great for picnics or bike rides, survive well in your panniers.

Very tasty gently warmed in an oven for vegan pie and mash, sunday dinner or vegan Christmas dinner with lashings of vegan gravy!

I am committed to be a palm oil free vegan pie business and have developed my own pastry recipe using the finest organic untreated wheat flour and organic, fair trade coconut oil. I aim to be as environmentally caring as possible.

The Original

Original Vegan Vork Pie My first vegan pork pie flavour, inspired by the traditional flavourings of a pork pie, filled with onions, mushrooms, green lentils, vegan cheese alternative, white pepper, parsley and tarragon, deliciously savoury.

The Tamarind Sweet Potato

The Tamarind Sweet Potato Vegan Vork Pie A double award winning pie in 2016 and 2019 at the British Pie Awards. Full to the brim with sweet potato, chick peas, coconut, lime, tamarind and turmeric, very moreish!

The Piri Piri

The Piri Piri Vegan Vork Pie A spicy blend of onions, mushrooms, green lentils, red kidney beans, smoked paprika and piri piri chilli peppers, my spiciest pie.

The Squashed

The Squashed Vegan Vork Pie Filled with butternut squash, red lentils, chana dhal, carrot, ginger and cumin, a mild Moroccan inspired warming flavour. A bronze award winning pie in 2019 at The British Pie Awards.

The Smoked Beetroot

The Smoked Beetroot Vegan Vork Pie My newest hand crimped pie flavour, taste tested with my regulars at local markets, all voted it a hit! Filled with beetroot, carrot, red onion and apple roasted with balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and dill. Added to the mix are chick peas that I smoke over cherry wood chips then blend to give a full bodied smoky flavour. Awarded a bronze award at The British Pie Awards in 2019.

The Stoutly

The Stoutly Vegan Vork Pie The first of my hot gravy style pie flavours, so a different shape, cooked in individual tins. Organically sourced tempeh and black chick peas, with mushrooms and vegetables in a rich stout and onion gravy. Launched after many successful taste tests with family and friends at Sunday dinner get-togethers.

The Mediterranean

The Mediterranean Vegan Vork Pie Roasted courgettes, peppers and red onions with crushed, cherry and sundried tomatoes, borlotti beans, olives, basil and oregano. A pizza in a pie and a real taste of summer. According to a regular customer from The Med “A real taste of home, just like my Mother used to make!”

Vork On Mars

Vork on Mars Vegan Scotch Egg A spicy blend of onions, mushrooms, green lentils, red kidney beans, smoked paprika and piri piri chilli peppers on the outside with a homemade vegan sour tofu centre, encased in breadcrumbs. Inspired by the scotch egg.

Vork To The Beet

Vork to the Beet Vegan Scotch Egg Beetroot, carrot, apple roasted with maple syrup and balsamic vinegar, red and green lentils with a hint of dill round the outside with a homemade smoked hummus centre encased in breadcrumbs. Inspired by the scotch egg.
